We had two quotes, one from city Gas and one from another company.

Steve from City Gas arrived with a clipboard and brochures and asked various questions about what we wanted. He gave us a number of different options with different prices. We later had an e-mail with comprehensive break down of the quote and all Gas registered certificates to confirm Steve’s qualifications.

The other company turned up with nothing but a verbal quote and tried to push us into taking the easiest option of having the new boiler installed in the kitchen (where we didn’t want it).
